Hi Guys,
As many of you know, yesterday I gave a speech to my year group about why they should elect me to be one of the finalists for the captains run. Today I found out who got through. First you should know that: there were 13 girls trying out and 12 boys. Also, 85% of the year voted for two of the girls and the other 15% was spread over the rest of the 11 candidates. 70% of the year voted for one of the boys.
I did not get through. Neither did Enesti. Needless to say, I am not happy. It did not help that we were sitting one seat away from a girl who did get through.
It's the school's loss. They could have had great leaders. I'll be doing other things now, making a difference my own way.
In the words of the movie Spirit, Our spirits shall not be broken!

Hey everyone
Hey everyone,
Just so everyone knows, I'm not dead. Zara was worried.
I'm watching Sprit as I type and seriously, it's the saddest movie EVER. I'm crying right now. Hmm, that's something to blog about. Great movies. My ten top would have to be (in no particular order):
1. Thunderpants. It's super sweet and contains a fair amount of the HP cast.
2. Sprit. Has horses. 'nuff said.
3. Practical Magic. Kinda chick-flicky but involes witches. And midnight margaritas.
4. Toy Story (all three). Do I really need to explain this?
5. Despicible Me. IT'S SO FLUFFY!
6. Hoodwinked. A clasic with a twist.
7. Star Wars. Ewoks, Wookies, little green Jedis, lightsabers and the force.
8. The Dish. Great Aussie movie that bullshits NASA.
9. Bye Bye Birdie. Musical about Elvis and some of his crazy teen fans.
10. Harry Potter (all of them). Are not, and will never be as good as the books but are still great.

Tin Foil in My Hair
Hi Guys,
I have tin foil in my hair. Actually, I have little plaits in my hair like the ones you get in Fiji. I did two of them because I was bored and then I realised I liked them so I put the tin foil on the ends so I don't have to re-plait them this week.
To 'Nesti- I've written mine and I'm not sharing! With anyone, candidate or not. Also, What's with the weird quote on the end. Oh, and Hazel fell over and her ankle is all swelled up.
Nira- You were no help with speech writing this afternoon, I had to do it all myself.
Hazel- I ate the left over chocolate today.
Anyway, I have to go to bed guys. So have a wonderful tomorrow.

AGAIN!!
Hi all,
this is hazel and i am currently at home. i am sooo BORED!
If you are wondering why it is because little old me is stick at home because I am on Crutches. AGAIN!!
So Yeah. I am mega bored but it is all cool because i am going to Zara's this evening.
Apart from me being a 'Walking Disaster' and that is a direct quote from Zara life is good.

Hey, I'm Back
As the title says, I'm BACK!!!
Long story short. I got gmail and I became an author using that email, but I had to change it cause of stuff...
We got our mid-semester reports today along with our NAPLAN results. I got satisfactory in everything but acheivment in band. I'm above averege in everything in NAPLAN other than spelling (I cannot spell to save my life). So I'm pretty happy at the moment. Oh yeh, and I'm wearing happy pants. I <3 my happy pants!
Before I go I'd just like to take a moment to tell everyone a few very imortant things (Please note that these dates are for the US). 1. The first Hunger Games movie comes out on the 23 of March next year. 2. The First Maximum Ride movie comes out... sometime in 2013, I'm not to sure when. 3. The second Hunger Games movie comes out on the 22 of November 2013. So there's lots to look foward to (If you haven't read Maximum Ride or The Hunger Games go to the nearest library and READ).

I've made an executive decision. This applies to me and Enesti. We're not to campaign for school captains whilst posting on this blog. This rule will be lifted if only one of us gets through to the next round. Good luck to you 'Nesti.

About The New Design
Hello Readers, Authors,
To explain the rather large amount of changes that have happened to the blog in the space of ten minutes, I just finished my homework and I was working all day, with the exception of my 40 minute break to ride into Dickson, buy and eat gelato and ride back. So as a celebration of my freedom I made our blog a little more insane.
In other news, my brother just said "soz" to my mum. I am quietly laughing.
To Enesti, what do you mean that I wrote "write" instead of "right" check the first post, I'm right, you're wrong.
To Hazel, welcome to the blog. Follow the rules.
To Nira, your name isn't showing up in the authors list. Can you check if you're still able to post and let me know. I'm still working a few things out.
To everyone else, enjoy the blog and have a good week.

I promised myself I wouldn't post again till all of us had said hello and now we have.

My 'name' for the purpose of is blog is Enesti. So feel free to call me that.
As Zara explained we have set this blog up as a group thing. (my idea on that particularly warm spring day home from school) We had a long conversation on the name and URL. Anywho... this entry is to explain the choices of each.
1. Our Insane Beautiful Lives: well as the blog progresses this might explain itself a bit more... but yes we're not completely sane. Lets leave it at that.
2. alohinsanity..... see above, aloh we mis-spell aloha
