The Results of Speeches

Hi Guys,

As many of you know, yesterday I gave a speech to my year group about why they should elect me to be one of the finalists for the captains run. Today I found out who got through. First you should know that: there were 13 girls trying out and 12 boys. Also, 85% of the year voted for two of the girls and the other 15% was spread over the rest of the 11 candidates. 70% of the year voted for one of the boys.

I did not get through. Neither did Enesti. Needless to say, I am not happy. It did not help that we were sitting one seat away from a girl who did get through.

It's the school's loss. They could have had great leaders. I'll be doing other things now, making a difference my own way.
