Howdy, y'all.
A. I am back from German camp.
B. Nazi jokes are so not funny, I am holding back a lecture. Don't go there.
C. The actual post:
So, basically I got up at 7:20 AM this morning. Be impressed. And I still don't respond to my name, because at Camp, everyone has a German alias. And I keep expecting people to behave like they do at camp, which is to day, bursting into random songs in German, speak with wild gesticulations, and blast German dance music and dance to it like maniacs. And I haven't seen a single pair of Lederhosen so far today, either. That's got to be a record.
On Friday, there was a giant celebration called International Day at my camp, where all the other camps came to our camp and we basically celebrated world citizenship and stuff. There was an American camp, too, and it was pretty cool getting a view of what we must be like to native German speakers. GAH! WHY IS ENGLISH CAPITALIZATION SO DIFFICULT! In German, you capitalize all noun and substantive adjectives and verbs. For example,
"Harry Potter is the best Book of all Time" instead of "Harry Potter is the best book of all time."
(It took me several tries to type the English one correctly.)
So, what else is new?
Well, my mom bought groceries in Hell recently. (It's a town in Norway.)
And I'm going to go visit Speedy later. Hooray!
Well, I'm going to jumpstyle now.
Best Wishes, y'all!
Rose
